Witold Gurbisz was born in 1972 in the Sudeten Mountains in Poland. He graduated in graphic design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. He began his career in the mid-90s as an illustrator of children's books, specializing in encyclopedias for children and educational books. He has so far illustrated and designed several dozen books and computer games. He works with prestigious Polish book publishers and computer game developers for children.
