Jacek Szleszynski was born in 1974 in Wroclaw, Poland. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. Passionate about speed and modernity, he explores the most modern techniques of artistic expression. In 1996, he makes an animated film entirely on computer and wins the prestigious Berlin prize. With the money thus gained, he buys his first speed motorcycle and an ultra powerful computer. The path of his career is traced: he becomes a renowned graphic designer of movies and video games. At the same time, he produces illustrations of youth books, in which he seeks to infuse the new stylistic trends and the technical discoveries born from graphic design on computer. Although devoted to the most modern graphic technologies, Jacek Szleszynski likes to explore classic techniques of illustration, including acrilic on cardboard. His work is renowned for the power of expression and the original approach that appeals to young people. He made covers of several books for teenagers for the major publishers of Poland.
