Shipping Policy

We offer domestic and international shipping. Packages are shipped using USPS (United States Postal Service), and you will be notified by e-mail when your order is sent. It is the customers responsibility to ensure their email address is updated; we are not responsible for undelivered emails either sent to the wrong address or hindered by spam filters.

Books

  1. Retail Ground shipping (standard): the customer shall be charged $US 2.40. For purchases exceeding a value of $US 15.00 the cost of shipping will be waived.

  2. Priority Mail and/or registered shipping: the extra cost is borne by the customer and the foregoing $US 15.00 threshold (pt.1) is not applicable.

  3. The shipment cost of returns is borne by the customer.

Artwork and Jewelry

  1. Retail Ground shipping (standard): the shipping cost is covered byAmberoad.

  2. Priority Mail and/or registered shipping: the extra cost is borne by the customer.

  3. The shipment cost of returns is borne by the customer.

For grouped orders that include at least one book and artwork or jewelry,  the above conditions remain unchanged, that is the customer enjoys the benefit of free of charge for standard shipping, but bears a cost for upgraded shipments.

Your signature upon receipt is not required unless instructed otherwise. We shall not be held accountable for stolen packages or any damage incurred in your absence at your doorstep. Should you prefer that your signature be required, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately following your purchase.

Delivery

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and delivery times may be subject to delays as a result of postal or courier delays, or force majeure, for which we will not be held accountable. 

When ordering goods from amberoad.com for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are applied once the package reaches its destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be covered by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Do contact your local customs office for further information Customs policies vary widely from country to country.

Damages 

Upon receipt of your package, you are encouraged to examine for any damage. If any found, take a picture of it and attach a dated description outlining the problem. If applicable, do not sign for your package until you confirm it is in perfect condition. The damage must be reported to Amberoad via email to contact@amberoad.com within 24 hours of delivery.
